CronoSports — A New Beginning 🔶
Welcome back old friend
After a long time apart and a lot of building behind closed doors, we’re happy to welcome you to our long awaited return to the blockchain landscape, ready to bring more innovation than ever to cryptocurrency sports betting.
The past few months have most definitely not been kind to the cryptocurrency market, with lots of turbulance and tragic events slowing down the growth of Web3. Countless projects have fallen in this period, including well trusted colossi, thought to be indestructible just a few months prior. As the market went down every project was affected in some way, and unfortunately we suffered from it too.
Following a vote from our community, it was decided that we would keep developing the project while waiting for a turn in the market to relaunch under better conditions with an improved staking platform and betting system.
What Will Happen Now? 🔮
We have decided to start working towards the relaunch of CronoSports, and we’ve picked the BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain) as our future home, with an expansion to Polygon in the next months as well. The BNB Chain is the second largest chain with over $5.8b of total value locked by users, and one of the most active and energetic communities in all of crypto.
We’ve ultimately decided to pick it because we have extensive experience with it from our past ventures, and we have some good contacts that we can utilize to gather attention, and most importanly to scale the project consistently as everything unfolds.
Not to mention that a lot of amazing potential partners we know, such as Chainlink support the BNB Chain, and would allow us to gather credibility and further improve the project through funding and oracles for example.
How Can I Join In? 👋🏻
We are making some important choices right now while getting the ball rolling, and one of the main things to consider is where to launch the project. We are in contact with some major launchpads, but a PinkSale launch or a launch on our own platform could be an option too. It’s the most incentivizing option for our community and initial impact of the project that will decide the final choice.
We will deliver all of the final details as they unfold in the next days, after we finish up some calls with the launchpads in question, so stay tuned to be the first one to find out.
Will Betify Holders Receive the New Token? 🪙
As previously mentioned in our last article, BETIFY holders will be eligible for a % of the initial token distribution on BSC, which will be delivered gradually through a pool system. We will make sure to take care of the loyal users that have set the foundation for the project with us during all of these months.
We are also evaluating a small private sale for our old users, as it seems like a lot of them are eager to grab a piece of the new pie. We will consider this, while making sure that the launch will be carefully managed in order to avoid any potential drastic price fluctuations that might ensue through a large token distribution pre-launch. The best option for everyone involved is to have a stable launch.
How is the Code Looking? 👨🏼💻
The code is the one area that has gone exceptionally well during the past bear market months. We’ve had all of the time and peace of mind to evaluate features properly, create well written code and test it to make sure everything is running smoothly.
